Saturday Shelby launched online in March 2015 and a print edition that reached every household in the zip code was printed from June 2015 to November 2016. Now available through a weekly print subscription, which includes a daily email featuring obituaries and breaking news, we continue to give Shelby County residents a locally owned newspaper that provides local news and features.

The company was founded by Shelbyville native Kristiaan Rawlings, M. Ed., who holds a Bachelor of Arts in Literature and Communication from Oglala Lakota College and a Master of Arts in Education from New Mexico State University. He teaches Language Arts at Shelbyville Middle School and is the author of Change: Thrive: 50 essential anecdotes for a first year college student.
